‘It’s on the Internet!’: Tucker Hammers Democratic Rep For Not Reading Trump’s Plan For Black America

An interview between Fox News’ Tucker Carlson and Rep. Dwight Evans (D-PA) regarding Evans boycott of the inauguration quickly went off the rails after Carlson exposed the fact that the lawmaker hadn’t read one of President-elect Donald Trump’s plans.

Evans, one of more than 60 Democrats boycotting, explained to Carlson that he wasn’t going to the inauguration because of the incoming POTUS’s treatment of John Lewis. The two talked a bit about Evans feelings about Lewis, Trump’s policies and if there might be some common ground. That is when Carlson brought up a ten-point plan Trump proposed in October.

Highlighting that Evans’ district is majority black, the Fox host asked him what he thought about Trump’s ‘New Deal for Black America.’ “I haven’t really seen it,” Evans replied. “I’d be open to see exactly what he’s talking about.”

An apoplectic Tucker shot back, “What do you mean you haven’t seen it?” After a bit of back-and-forth, the Pennsylvania lawmaker said it had not been provided to him. “It’s on the internet,” Carlson exclaimed.
