Ivanka Trump Talks About Combatting Sexual Harassment in Interview on Fox News

ivankaIvanka Trump appeared on Fox News tonight and ended up discussing the issue of sexual harassment with Greta Van Susteren.

Now, Van Susteren brought this up because of recent comments her father and brother made about how she would react to sexual harassment. (Eric Trump‘s comments earned a “sigh” from Megyn Kelly.)

But left out of the discussion was the awkward fact that the only reason Trump mentioned his daughter in the context of sexual harassment was because he was asked about Roger Ailes.

Yes, lingering over every word Ivanka said to Van Susteren about combatting sexual harassment and places with a “culture” of that sort of thing is the reports of a culture of harassment at Fox News.

When the allegations first broke, Van Susteren herself defended Ailes, and after he was ousted, she followed up by saying, “I did not defend Roger Ailes nor did I condemn him. I just stated what I knew or did not know. Period.”

Trump concluded her remarks by saying, “You hope you have a culture in which they don’t arise, but when they do, it needs to be dealt with swiftly.”
