Jake Tapper Confronts Marco Rubio For Inserting Donald Trump’s Penis in the History Books
Florida Senator and former Republican presidential candidate Marco Rubio‘s hot exclusive with CNN’s Jake Tapper on Sunday morning’s State of the Union included the moment America has been waiting for, as Tapper finally made Rubio answer for raising the issue of Donald Trump’s penis on the campaign trail, and thereby causing it to be read into the historical record at a subsequent debate. Rubio revealed that he apologized to Trump for the incident, because “that’s not who I am”:
I apologized to him for that. I said “I’m sorry I said that, it’s not who I am, and I shouldn’t have done it.”
Rubio did not, however, go on to apologize to future generations of Americans who will have to deal with that mental image.
Elsewhere in the interview, Rubio also revealed that he will be releasing his delegates to the Republican National Convention, and that he plans to attend the gathering for at least “a few days.”
