Jake Tapper’s The Lead Not At All In The Lead During Debut Week

CNN’s new Jake Tapper show, The Lead has placed behind Fox News and MSNBC in both the demo and total viewership every afternoon for its first four days of air.

Among the big three cable networks, at 4 p.m. ET, Tapper’s debut episode on Monday finished last in both total viewers and the key 25-54 demo:

Monday, March 18, 4PM
Neil Cavuto/Fox News: 1.10M total (172k demo)
Martin Bashir/MSNBC: 479k total (100k demo)
Jake Tapper/CNN: 400k total (87k demo)

That order continued with Tapper finishing at the bottom of the big three with the following numbers each day:

Tuesday, March 19, 4PM
Jake Tapper/CNN: 371k total (93k demo)

Wednesday, March 20, 4PM
Jake Tapper/CNN: 407k total (64k demo)

Thursday, March 21, 4PM
Jake Tapper/CNN: 326k total (78k demo)
