News of Sandusky’s indictment broke in early November following a two year grand jury investigation. Shortly after, Sandusky was interviewed by Bob Costas on Rock Center, who asked him whether he was attracted to young boys. “Sexually attracted?” Sandusky had responded. “You know, I enjoy young people. I love to be around them. But no, I’m not sexually attracted to young boys.” He later added that he had “horsed around with kids. I have showered after workouts. I have hugged them and I have touched their leg. Without intent of sexual contact.”

This week, after Sandusky’s lawyers decided against putting him on the stand, it was learned that his adopted son, Matt Sandusky, claimed to have been sexually abused by Sandusky as well.
