With Jerry Seinfeld and New Yorker editor David Remnick both appearing as guests on Late Night with Seth Meyers last night, it was the perfect opportunity for the host to revive a bit that he had debuted during his first month on the air last year: Live New Yorker Cartoons.
This time, in addition to Remnick explaining what makes certain New Yorker cartoons funny, Seth Meyers invited “noted humorist” Seinfeld to analyze the often opaque-seeming drawings as portrayed by the Late Night writing staff.
