Jesse Watters Defends ‘Beyoncé Voters’ Remark on O’Reilly

Last week, Fox’s Jesse Watters referenced “Beyoncé voters,” single ladies who depend on government because they don’t depend on men. Watters defended that rather odd comment on Bill O’Reilly‘s show tonight, laughing off criticism from the media and liberal blogs.

First off, why did Watters bring up Beyoncé in the first place? He explained, “I wasn’t talking about Beyoncé at all. I was talking about the song ‘Single Ladies.'” Watters insisted he was just making a point about single women who “depend on government much more than married women” and he just happened to illustrate that with a random, pointless Beyoncé reference.

O’Reilly noted how “the left goes wild” when conservatives mention Beyoncé (presumably referring to the time he got all obsessed about how Beyoncé is harming America’s youth).
