Fox News’ Jesse Watters weighed in on Harvey Weinstein‘s arrest on Friday noting that he “enjoyed” seeing the disgraced media mogul finally in cuffs.
Speaking with fellow The Five hosts, Watters pointed out that, “This is the guy who started the Me Too movement in the very, very beginning after the avalanche of accusations.”
He then added: “I myself enjoyed watching the perp walk today. I was looking forward to it in a weird way just to see him in cuffs.”
Then, after noting that he thinks Weinstein may skate because he is so rich, Watters also said he thinks Weinstein is a serious flight risk because, “If this guy is convicted, he is too soft to spend a day in prison.”
On Friday, Weinstein turned himself into authorities and was led in front of a gauntlet of photographers for his court appearance to face charges of rape and forcing a second woman to perform oral sex.
The media mogul was ultimately released hours after his arrest after posting $1 million bail. He will also wear an ankle monitor, surrender his passport and limit his travel to New York and Connecticut.
