Someone needs to alert the Bernie Sanders and Ted Cruz campaigns that apparently, lots and lots of Californians managed to vote, in person, in Tuesday’s New York presidential primary. Jimmy Kimmel Live sent its Lie Witness News crew out onto the streets of Los Angeles to ask Angelenos if they had voted in the New York state primary, how long the lines were, if they had partaken of a complimentary nosh, and who they had gone with.
The results were hilarious and weird, as every interview they showed featured “voters” conjuring details of their visits to the polls, including one man who said the water was choppy during his ride on the Long Island Ferry, and a woman who praised the convenience of being allowed to vote by swiping her MetroCard. As always, the weirdest thing is that these people all signed releases.
