Jimmy Kimmel Gives Game of Thrones Character a New Full House Family in Spinoff Spoof
Game of Thrones is over and talk of spinoffs rampant.
Yet, it seems Jimmy Kimmel has some ideas about a new crossover show and it involves the cast of Full House adopting a Game of Thrones character.
Introducing his spoof spinoff Monday night, Kimmel said this: “There are said to be at least three Game of Thrones spinoff shows in the works. HBO has been very secretive on the subject, but last night they released an exclusive first look at one of them which revives a beloved character we thought was gone, giving him new life, and a new TV family.”
The spoof then opens with Full House‘s Joey (Dave Coulier) struggling to open a pickle jar.
“I’m in a bit of a pickle,” he says piling on the sitcom schmaltz.
Danny (Bob Saget) then asks Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) in full GOT garb if he would like to take a stab.
Not surprisingly, his approach to jar opening does not go well.
Quickly though, it is revealed Jaime is upset about something.
Naturally, Danny and Joey are there to offer some advice.
“What’s up, buddy?” Danny asks, encouraging Jaime to share his problems.
Danny first offers some trite ‘make up with your sibling’ advice but when Jaime reveals he got his sister pregnant, Joey steps in.
That is when things get decidedly less family-friendly.
“I know, I know cut it out,” Jaime says, referring to Joey’s catchphrase.
Joey then says this: “No, I was gonna say, quit f*cking your sister.”
