Joe Biden Reveals ‘Top 10 Good Things About Voting Early’ On Letterman
Vice President Joe Biden paid a visit to David Letterman on Thursday to read the “top 10 good things about voting early.” Because not voting early is just malarkey, guys.
Number 10 started out with America’s favorite incentive: free food. “I’m not saying each early voter gets a free cheeseburger, but I’m not saying they don’t either,” Biden said.
Biden also took some jabs at others and himself. Number six, for example: “If you vote early, you don’t have to pay taxes.” But he then had to add, “I’m sorry, I’m being told that’s not accurate.”
But he digressed, poking fun at himself instead. Specifically, with Number three: “Not exercising your right to vote is malarkey — it’s literally malarkey.”
Yet the top reason is really the only one we need: “Honestly, don’t you want this election over with already?”
(Also, there’s an open bar.)
