One Obama administration voice that’s been very quiet about the disastrous Obamacare rollout has been Vice President Joe Biden, but he broke his silence today in a candid one-on-one with HLN’s Christi Paul. In an excerpt that aired on CNN, Biden issued an apology on behalf of the administration for thinking the site was ready to go when, in fact, it wasn’t.
Biden opened up on the day of Kathleen Sebelius‘s testimony to Congress on the health care law’s rollout issues. Biden had this to say about the issues plaguing the site so far.
“We assumed that it was up and ready to run, but the good news is that although it’s not, and we apologize for that, we’re confident that by the end of November it will be and there will still be plenty of time for people to register to get online.”
