Joe Piscopo Pleads With Fox Host Over Election: ‘Can We Stop the Vitriol, Harris?
Joe Piscopo did a remote interview on The Real Story today, which was hosted by Harris Faulkner. (As you may or may not have heard, Gretchen Carlson is no longer at Fox News.) He praised both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump for their performances at their respective conventions, announced he was riding the Trump Train, and then made a quick, startling plea.
First, he explained that underestimating Clinton would be a mistake, commanding viewers not to “hate” and to have some respect for Trump’s opponent.
“Can we stop the vitriol, Harris?” he demanded of Faulkner, who used to anchor the news in Minnesota, where he was broadcasting from. “I mean, you’re one of the nicest people in the media, Ha–”
She swiftly changed the subject, saying she was grateful he could find positive things about the election on both sides of the political aisle.
What’s that all about?
