John Oliver Scores a Big Interview for HBO Debut…

John Oliver‘s HBO show kicks off next Sunday, and Oliver scored quite a bit get for his debut: Keith Alexander, the man who ran the National Security Agency up until he stepped down to retire last month.

That’s right, the man who was the head of the NSA as the agency was rattled by Edward Snowden going rogue last year will sit down on Sunday with the inventor of the Carlos Danger dance.

Oliver made a surprise appearance on his old Daily Show stomping grounds last night to plug his new show and brag about all the wonderful bleep-free freedom HBO gives him.

When Oliver took over The Daily Show last summer, the very first subject he tackled as guest host was the NSA. You can watch that segment below, via Comedy Central:
