The Daily Show with Jon Stewart has just four episodes left and now we know who (some) of the final guests will be. During an interview with Judd Apatow last month, the host indicated that he would favor his comedian friends over esoteric authors for his final week, and that’s exactly what we are going to get.
Amy Schumer, who was almost named as Stewart’s successor, will kick things off on Monday night, followed by Denis Leary on Tuesday and Louis C.K. on Wednesday.
Just as David Letterman kept the line-up of special guests on his final Late Show a surprise, Comedy Central has stayed quiet about who might show up on Thursday night, August 6. But a good bet would be on former Daily Show correspondents-turned-major stars like Stephen Colbert, Steve Carell and Ed Helms.
