Jorge Ramos to O’Reilly: Obama ‘Evolved’ on Legality of Immigration Action

Fusion anchor Jorge Ramos faced off with Bill O’Reilly tonight on immigration. Ramos reacted to President Obama‘s announcement of executive action last night by saying, “Obama is paying a debt to the Latino community.”

He elaborated on that remark with O’Reilly, saying that the president had promised reform years ago and he was likely “very uncomfortable with the idea that he didn’t keep his promise.”

O’Reilly brought up how multiple times in the past, including in an interview with Ramos, Obama said he didn’t have the legal authority to do what he just did. Ramos said, “He was listening to us… and I honestly think that the president’s position evolved.”

They sparred a bit when Ramos said Obama was likely watching Fusion and Univision more so than Fox. O’Reilly said, “You guys aren’t constitutional scholars out there.” Ramos responded, “You’re not either.”

And mere seconds later, O’Reilly took note of how Ramos is “an advocate and and anchorman.” Ramos shot back, “You too.”
