White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest reacted to the tragic WDBJ shooting that left two newspeople dead at the top of today’s presser.
Earnest sent the thoughts and prayers of everyone at the White House to families and loved ones mourning the loss of Alison Parker and Adam Ward, lamenting this as “another example of gun violence that is becoming all too common” in the United States.
Earnest did go on to make a point about gun control, reaffirming the White House’s position that “while there is no piece of legislation that will end all violence in this country, there are some common-sense things that only Congress can do that we know would have a tangible impact in reducing gun violence in this country.”
