Journalist Talia Lavin Calls Out Fox’s Ingraham For Labeling Her ‘Journo-Terrorist’: ‘Insane and Irresponsible’

Former New Yorker fact checker Talia Lavin is striking back at Laura Ingraham after the Fox News host smeared her and other journalists as “little journo-terrorists.”

Ingraham railed against liberals attempting to “repeal free speech” on Thursday night, and eventually, she turned her attention to the news that New York University hired Lavin as an adjunct professor to teach a course on media coverage of the far-right. Lavin’s hiring has been condemned by conservatives since she resigned from The New Yorker in 2018 after she incorrectly reported that a Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent was a Nazi because he had an iron cross tattoo.

Speaking with conservative commentator Dinesh D’Souza about the “indoctrination” taking place at NYU, Ingraham launched into a diatribe against the liberal watchdog group Media Matters for “intimidating” conservative media figures and putting a spotlight on their controversial moments.

Presumably, Ingraham had Media Matters on the brain because they recently unearthed several objectionable clips from Tucker Carlson‘s days as a guest on shock-jock radio.

“They don’t want to argue, they don’t win the debate. They want to search and destroy. That’s what they do. That’s why Fox viewers are so loyal to this network because we refuse to bow, refuse to cave into these kind of terroristic tactics and that’s what they are. They are little journo-terrorists and people are sick of it…”

Lavin has noticed those remarks and she’s returning fire on Ingraham.

Here’s a few reactions Lavin retweeted from people who saw the segment:
