Joy Behar and Sherri Shepherd Return to The View

If you’re the kind of person who’s really, REALLY into the internal politics of a daytime TV talk show, The View must have been your crack for the past few years, because it seems like every other week there was some new story about internal drama or hosts leaving or being brought back after leaving the first time or leaving a second time after being brought back after leaving the first time.

Well, guess what. It’s not over.

Today The View made some big announcements on Twitter about its full roster for this upcoming season, and it contains two familiar faces:

That’s right, Joy Behar and Sherri Shepherd––both of whom left the show over a year ago––are both coming back, the former as a co-host and the latter as a contributor.

Interesting fact: Among the new co-hosts is Candace Cameron-Bure, an outspoken conservative evangelical. Wonder how she and Behar will play out as sparring partners.

You’ll also notice famous names like Padma Lakshmi, Stacy London, Molly Sims, and CNN’s Ana Navarro joining as contributors.

Season 19 of The View starts September 8th.
