Juan Williams Calls Out Hannity: ‘I Think You’re Running This Presidency’

The opening segment of The Five on Monday, with Sean Hannity making a rare appearance sitting in for Greg Gutfeld, produced some tense moments early on as the primetime anchor mixed it up with Democratic commentator Juan Williams.

As it turned out, that initial tussle was nothing.

Later in the program, during a discussion about the political agendas of the two major parties in advance of the 2020 presidential election, Hannity accused Democrats of having an agenda comprised of open borders, keeping the Affordable Care Act, and impeaching President Donald Trump.

Williams fired back by calling the cable news ratings king out while on his very own network.

“Let me just tell you something,” Williams said. “You have a Sean Hannity agenda. I think you’re running this presidency.”

Hannity absorbed the blow with slight grin and a shake of his head.

“That is the silliest thing I’ve ever heard,” Hannity said.

“How can you say such a thing?!” Williams shot back.

“That’s what CNN fake news says, and they’re lying every night,” Hannity replied — again smiling, but in a manner which suggested that Williams’ comment stung, at least somewhat.
