Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Kaine expressed some disappointment with Paul Ryan on CBS This Morning today.
He told Norah O’Donnell that it makes him “sad” to see Ryan throwing in so much with Donald Trump, citing his past bipartisan budget work with Democrats.”
“When I see him, y’know,” Kaine said, “kind of being–– if not an apologist, at least refusing to call out bad behavior on Donald Trump’s behalf––I feel sorry for him.”
Ryan has declared that his endorsement for Trump is not a blank check, but has made it clear nothing Trump has done so far has crossed the line.
