Karl Rove: ‘Good Riddance’ to ‘Partisan Hack’ Eric Holder
Karl Rove does not like outgoing U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder.
Asked for his thoughts Thursday evening on the announced resignation of the Obama cabinet official, Rove told Fox’s Greta Van Susteren the departure is “good for the country, good for the Justice Department.”
The GOP operative then took it a step further, calling Holder a “partisan hack” who “hasn’t been the somewhat independent attorney general that we expect.” From the moment he took the job, Rove claimed, “he has done very little except things that advance the political agenda of this administration, and pit American against American.”
Any specific examples, Mr. Rove? You bet. And if you’re a frequent Fox viewer, you likely know which one it is: “I cannot believe that one of the first things he did when he came into office was to dismiss the lawsuit against the Black Panther Party, which was caught on-video brandishing clubs and threatening voters outside Philadelphia.”
He concluded: “Thank you for your service, Mr. Attorney General, but, frankly, good riddance.”
