Kathy Griffin Lampoons Kellyanne Conway on The President Show: She’ll Defend ‘Worst People in History!’
Kathy Griffin debuted her impression of Kellyanne Conway on The President Show‘s telethon special the “Make America Great-A-Thon.”
Introduced by “President Trump” (played by Anthony Atamanuik) as the “cockroach” of his administration and the “lone survivor of the Bowling Green Massacre,” Griffin’s Conway began by immediately promoting Ivanka Trump‘s line of shoes and bags.
“You know, President Trump, I just want to say- there’s nowhere I would rather be tonight,” she told the president.
“Isn’t this woman an incredible liar?!?” Trump reacted.
Trump praised his counselor, saying she has “no conscience.” And for the next act, Conway showed how she could “happily” defend the worst people in history.
The first was Bernie Madoff.
“Did Bernie Madoff’s investors go bankrupt? Yeah. But I find it interesting the media used the words ‘pyramid scheme,'” Conway said.”Frankly, that’s anti-Semitic when you consider the terrible suffering of the Jewish people in Egypt at the time of the pharaoh. So this so-called bankruptcy is actually a moral one on your part, Wolf [Blitzer].”
Next was Jeffrey Dahmer.
“Everybody needs food to survive!” Conway exclaimed. “And if your grocery store is closed, why not try a bus station? I mean, at the end of the day, Jeff is just a foodie. A salt of the earth, a flesh of the human kind of guy, and our workforce can use more Americans with that kind of appetite for life.”
Others included Charles Manson, O.J. Simpson, and even Hillary Clinton.
