RNC spokeswoman Kayleigh McEnany appeared on Fox Business Network this morning to discuss her new gig and President Trump‘s relationship with other Republicans.
Stuart Varney first asked her about the ongoing fight between the President and Republicans like McConnell, just days after McConnell set the President off by saying he had “excessive expectations” of how quickly legislation gets through.
“There’s no denying,” she said, “President Trump is the leader of this party. Everyone must line up behind him.”
McEnany said it’s important for the GOP to get health care and other big agenda items done, especially with the midterms next year.
At one point Varney asked her how she likes her new job. McEnany said, “I love it. It’s a lot of fun. Beats eight-on-one panels.”
Varney reminded viewers that she was at the “Clinton News Network” up until recently. McEnany added that “everyone was really nice off the screen, though.”
