Kellyanne Conway Denies That She’s The White House Leaker: ‘That’s a Ridiculous Notion’

White House counselor Kellyanne Conway decried Trump administration leaks this morning and denied that she is the leaker.

Earlier this week Conway said she expects staff shake-ups coming in response to leaks, and this morning Fox News anchor Bill Hemmer said, “Now apparently some of the staffers at the White House are accusing you of being one of the chief leakers.”

Conway amusedly responded, “I haven’t heard that, but that’s pretty funny. If I were a great leaker, I guess I’d get much better press.”

She said people at both the junior and senior level at the White House have been leaking.

Hemmer asked why this is still an issue for the administration. Conway said that she herself has been in “many meetings where the content is never divulged.”

Hemmer again brought up the suggestion that she’s the leaker, to which Conway responded, “No, I’m not. That’s a ridiculous notion and I know there are plenty of people who don’t like each other, it turns out. They have to settle those disagreements on their own, frankly.”

She also made a point of saying it’s “naive” to think the leaks are only coming from the White House comms shop.
