Kellyanne Conway on Fox: ‘I Actually Want People to Have News They Can Use’

Speaking to Fox News’ Jesse Watters on Saturday night, White House counselor Kellyanne Conway complained that she just wants to talk about policy. The problem is that when she tries that on Fox News’ competitors, she gets shut down and interrupted.

It all came during a discussion about how Nancy Pelosi, according to Watters, “scolded” the media when she said this: “I wish the press would spend a lot more time on what we need to do here to meet the needs of the American people instead of morning, noon and night allegations against the president.”

After the clip aired, Conway said that Pelosi sounded like her.

“She sounds like me who’s always talking about not biased coverage because that’s easy to see where you want to see it but incomplete coverage,” Conway said. “We are not having policy discussions.”

She then bemoaned the fact that when she went on a competitor network, she got shut down and interrupted.

“I tried to have some this week on a competitor network — it doesn’t do as well as your network — because I like to get the president’s message out to different audiences and you just get shut down and constantly interrupted when I try to talk about policies,” she opined. “I actually want people to have news they can use.”

The interview she was talking about, by the way, was most certainly the marathon 39 minute interview with Chris Cuomo where both the CNN host and Conway shouted over one another and interrupted again and again.
