On his show last Friday, Rush Limbaugh mocked Virginia Governor-Elect Terry McAuliffe for viewing women as “a receptacle for male semen.” On PoliticsNation Tuesday night, Al Sharpton and Krystal Ball lept on Limbaugh for an attitude that Ball suggested resonates within the Republican party.
Sharpton played audio of Limbaugh’s “semen” comment, as well as a few other soundbites of Limbaugh going off on other women’s issues, noting that this is the kind of rhetoric that shows “why [the GOP’s] had such a problem with the woman vote.”
Ball said, “I don’t think that single women are going to vote for a party that sees them as giant receptacles of semen.”
She continued on to call out all the restrictive abortion laws in Republican-led states, as well as states like Texas clamping down on abortion clinics.
