Fox News host Laura Ingraham suggested on Wednesday that Democrats are trying to provoke “civil unrest” in the country with their schemes against former President Donald Trump as part of an ultimate plan to usher in “nation-wide mail-in voting.”
On her show The Ingraham Angle, Ingraham said, “Now at this point, given what we are seeing in the courts, at the DOJ, and even in state A.G. offices, and given Democrats’ ‘Trump is Hitler’ rhetoric, is it not logical, at least to consider, maybe even to assume, that some on the left are hoping to spark some type of civil unrest here?”
Ingraham went on to suggest hat such civil unrest “would be followed, of course, by a mass crackdown on civil liberties, or the declaration of maybe a nationwide emergency, all as a way, a pretextual way, to usher in, I don’t know, nationwide mail-in voting.”
She continued, “Now remember, the left loved the lockdowns, they loved the 2020 riots, and they even loved the weapon that January 6th gave them, and of course, they really, really love the idea of universal mail-in, or even internet, voting.”
Ingraham then introduced former House Speaker Newt Gingrich to the show, who also warned viewers of potential civil unrest following the Colorado Supreme Court’s decision to bar former President Donald Trump from the state’s ballot.
