Laura Ingraham: Tax Cuts ‘Will Be Bled Away if We Lose the Country’ to a ‘Huge Demographic Shift’

Fox News host Laura Ingraham said President Donald Trump’s tax cuts will not matter if “we lose the country” due to a “huge demographic shift” from illegal immigration.

Ingraham, in an interview with National Border Patrol Council vice president Hector Garza on her podcast Thursday, criticized Republicans for not passing legislation to crack down on undocumented immigrants when they controlled the House and the Senate during the first two years of Trump’s presidency.

“The fact that the Republicans did not do this when they had both houses of Congress, though, that makes me even angrier I think than what the Democrats are doing,” Ingraham said. “Because they could’ve done this, and they didn’t do it, and they decided not to do it. And they were doing other things, and the tax cut and all that.”

“But tax cut’s value is going to be bled away if we lose the country because of this huge demographic shift and bleed the country with all of these expenses we have now,” she added. “So it’s a massive problem.”

The remarks echo Ingraham’s previous commentary on immigration that landed the Fox News host in hot water. Last year, after Ingraham said “massive demographic changes have been foisted upon the American people” by legal and illegal immigration, a backlash was sparked that ignited a bloody advertiser boycott.
