Leg-Humping Stray Dog Prevents Local Reporter From Getting Through His Live Shot

The headline pretty much says it all people, but the video is still must-see.

A local Fox 13 affiliate in Memphis, Tennessee struggled to get through a live shot covering the latest in the Presidential election this morning. Call it a case of amorous desire, but a stray dog seemed to be pretty obsessed with the left leg of reporter Earle Farrell exactly at the wrong moment (or for us, the right moment). Just as the live shot began, Farrell immediately attempted to maneuver away from the pooch, scampering with “Go on, rat!” to no success.

“I’ve got a dog that’s apparently taking a liking to me,” said Farrell before revealing that the stray animal wouldn’t leave him alone. Finally, the newsman hysterically gave up altogether.

“I’ll tell ya, we’re gonna come back to you, because I can’t get this thing to leave me alone. We’ll be back,” he said, walking out of frame completely.

Early this morning, Farrell took to his Twitter page to note that his reporting in the Memphis area corresponded to visits from three Republican candidates this weekend.
