Libertarian Ron Paul seemed to give slightly more praise to Green Party candidate Jill Stein than to libertarian candidate Gary Johnson today, though he’s not exactly settled on voting for her.
In fact, when MSNBC’s Thomas Roberts asked him about his supposed endorsement right at the top, Paul said that none exists.
What he did say was that he likes Stein on civil liberties and foreign policy, admitting “she’s probably the best on foreign policy at the moment.”
As for Johnson, Paul said he doesn’t have a “crisp libertarian message” and throughout the interview he lamented how there’s no true candidate that stands for liberty in this race.
