Arkansas TV Weatherman Awakes Beside Dead Body In Hot Tub

Brett Cummins, a meteorologist at Little Rock, Arkansas television station KARK, awoke Labor Day beside a naked corpse with a “dog collar” around his neck in a hot tub according to a police report.

The body was identified as 24-year-old Dexter Paul Williams, who police say had been partying with Cummins and a friend the night before, drinking and snorting drugs. According to the Arkansas News, the police report detailed that once Cummins awoke, he “discovered that Williams was not conscious and his face was a different color. Cummins then screamed and left the bathroom, vomiting on the carpet in the living room.”

Authorities were unaware of what drugs were consumed preceding Williams’ death.

Fellow KARK anchor Bob Clausen acknowledged the incident, saying “Our meteorologist Brett Cummins was at the home at the time of the death and we felt we should share this with you our viewers. Brett will not be on the air while he is mourning the loss of his friend. Our thoughts naturally are with Brett and of course with the family and friends of Dexter Williams.”
