Lou Dobbs Guest Rips Nike: I’ll Find Every Piece of Equipment I Have and ‘Burn It’

Ed Rollins went off on Nike and Colin Kaepernick to Lou Dobbs Tuesday night over the news of the shoes pulled by the company.

To recap: as first reported by The Wall Street Journal, Nike yanked shoes with the Betsy Ross flag design––13 stars representing the original 13 colonies––over concerns raised by Kaepernick about the symbolism.

Nike’s gotten a lot of blowback as a result, and tonight Rollins told Dobbs, “I’m sure that Nike doesn’t care because I’m a fat old man, but I’m gonna find every Nike piece of equipment I have and burn it this weekend. I’m gonna go find New Balance or somebody else that makes American products and is proud of the American flag.”

He called it an “anti-American” move and said they should pay a price.

“I’ll never wear another Nike product again,” Rollins continued. “They don’t care about me, I’m a fat old man, but I’m gonna tell all my friends and I’m gonna basically make fun of everybody that wears it.”
