Lou Dobbs Rips Nikki Haley for Comments on Trump: ‘What Is Wrong With This Person?!’

Fox Business’ Lou Dobbs blasted outgoing U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley for comments she made about how she worked with President Donald Trump‘s tendencies to spout off in her role on the world stage.

On the Today Show this morning, Haley talked about using Trump’s unpredictability to her advantage in dealing with other countries:

“If I needed to pick up the phone and say, ‘This is what I’m going to do, are you good with this,’ we kind of partnered in that. He would ratchet up the rhetoric and I would go back to the ambassadors and say ‘He’s pretty upset. I can’t promise you what he’s going to do or not, but I tell you if we do these sanctions, it will keep him from going too far’… I was trying to get the job done, and I got the job done by being truthful, but also by letting him be unpredictable and not showing our cards.”

Dobbs was talking with Ed Rollins earlier tonight about the Michael Cohen sentence. Rollins said, “If there’s anything the president is guilty of, he had some bad people around him doing his bidding before he became president.”

Dobbs then used the “bad people” line to segue immediately to Haley. He was really worked up about her comments about the President, saying, “I mean, you would think she was making U.S. foreign policy. What is wrong with this person?!”

Rollins was similarly stunned by her comments and said she should’ve been “fired in a heartbeat.”

Dobbs noted that Haley’s already on her way out, adding, “You would have thought she was some sort of foreign policy international relations scholar from Harvard or Yale, not the former governor of the great state of South Carolina. It’s absurd!”
