Louis C.K. to Letterman: ‘The Fact That You’re Leaving Really Sucks Balls’
Comedian Louis C.K. dropped by The Late Show with David Letterman for tonight’s show, wearing an uncharacteristic all black suit and tie, and paid tribute to the retiring talk show host in his own unique way.
After saying his least favorite part about creating his TV show Louie, which begins it fourth season next Monday, was the acting, he offered the part of himself to David Letterman, considering he’s not going to have much to do starting next year.
“I’ll have some time,” the host joked.
“By the way, I’m very pleased for Stephen Colbert. He’s a great guy and he’s my friend,” C.K. said. “But the fact that you’re leaving really sucks balls.”
And just like that, C.K. made Letterman history. “Louis, no one on this program, either over at NBC or here, has ever used the expression ‘sucks balls,'” Letterman said, as he wrote it down so he could remember it forever.
