Maddow: ‘It’s Inarguable’ the Moment of Debate Was Trump Not Committing To Election Results

maddow-trump-electioneditededitedImmediately following the end of the third and final presidential debate of this election cycle, MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow and Brian Williams discussed what they had just witnessed.

After Williams noted that Donald Trump will likely keep Alec Baldwin in SNL’s employment for a while longer, Maddow expressed her feelings that the most pivotal part of the debate, and perhaps this portion of the campaign, was Trump’s reluctance to commit to accept the results in the upcoming election.

Bringing up moderator Chris Wallace’s question that related to the recent charges the GOP nominee has made of this being a rigged election that will be stolen from him, Maddow read off the entire exchange between Trump and Wallace, explaining that “it’s inarguable” this was THE moment of the night.

Williams noted that this was the first time a major party candidate had said or done this, so history was set tonight. He then tossed it over to Chris Matthews to get more reaction.
