Maher Gets Immediate Pushback for Saying Married Men Harass Women Due to ‘Sh*tty Sex Lives’

On Friday night, Bill Maher addressed the recent downpour of sexual harassment allegations with the panel, including the recent revelations about Bill O’Reilly.

“What did Bill O’Reilly do that got that woman $32 million?” Maher asked Joy Behar.

“I wouldn’t f**k him for $32 million,” Behar reacted.

Maher pointed out that it’s “always married guys” that get caught sexually harassing women.

“Why is that?” Behar asked.

“Because they have sh*tty sex lives,” Maher responded.

The View host took offense to his response, thinking he meant that they’re “bored at home” and essentially blaming the wives.

“[Mark] Halperin is accused of masturbating under the desk while he’s talking to somebody,” Behar elaborated. “What’s that got to do with him being married?”

The Daily Beast‘s Betsy Woodruff sided with Behar.

“Let’s not bring the wives into it,” Woodruff said.
