State Representative John Fresolo, a Worcester Democrat, is under an ethics investigation for serious allegations according to reports out of Boston. Though it remains unclear what he exactly he is under investigation for, one report citing anonymous Beacon Hill sources says that he allegedly took photos of his genitals and posted them on office computers.
WCVB’s Janet Wu tracked Fresolo down to his house to confront him about the reports of the ethics investigation. Fresolo told her that he has no plans to resign and that he would not comment further before shutting the door to his house. The allegations were reportedly made by a woman.
The uproar over Fresolo comes just a day after the state legislature’s ethics committee held a meeting that resulted in a hostile confrontation with a Boston Herald reporter.
This would not be the first time a Massachusetts state legislature was caught up in a some inappropriate sexual escapades. In 2008 State Sen. James Marzilli resigned from office after being sexual harassing and exposing himself to four women around the state. In 2011 State Rep. Mark Cusack was investigated for “inappropriate behavior with another lawmaker’s aide in the House chamber” after hours.
