Massage Buds: Matt Lauer, Al Roker Go on Fun-Filled Trip to Russian Bathhouse

The Winter Olympics are in Russia this year, so what’s there to do in your downtime? Well, Matt Lauer and Al Roker decided to kill some time by going to a Russian bathhouse together.

On their way to the bathhouse, Lauer said it’s about time for them to relax like Olympians after having the “swagger” of Olympians. Their massages were pleasant enough, marred slightly by the “recreational spanking” of the eucalyptus leaves.

The two NBC newsmen were then brought to a giant cauldron of boiling water, and were subsequently eaten by a tribe of local cannibals.

Okay, not really, but they were literally sitting in a giant cauldron of boiling water. Oh, and if the visual of that isn’t enough for you, Roker described the experience as creating a “Matt and Al soup.”

Anyone care for a taste?
