MAYHEM: Pints Go Flying in Hyde Park After England Scores in World Cup Semis (UPDATE)


UPDATE: Football is not coming home. Return to your flats in an orderly fashion, hooligans.

If British footie fans are known for one thing (other than “it’s coming home” memes) it’s launching their plastic pints of Stella Artois into the air, creating a roaring cascade of lager, every time their team scores.

The Three Lions’ first goal against Croatia was no different. As Kieran Trippier mashed a soaring free kick into the back of the net, London’s Hyde Park viewing party went pints up:

The Boxpark in Croydon was apparently no different:

Croatia managed to peel back a goal in the second half, and the game is now equalized. By now England fans have had time to refill their pints, so check back here should they score again…
