During a late-night traffic stop in Waco, Texas, police discovered that a woman in the car had a loaded handgun concealed in her vagina.
According to CBS affiliate KWTX, officers arrested Gabriel Garcia and Ashley Cecilia Castaneda after discovering 2.7 grams of methamphetamines under the driver’s seat, and an additional 29.9 grams in a purse. All of this, of course, was enough to arrest Garcia and Castaneda. However, it was the latter’s possession of a firearm that stopped the arresting officers short.
“Officers immediately stopped and a female officer searched Castaneda discovering she had in fact placed a loaded Smith and Wesson pistol inside her body cavity,” said Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton. “The weapon had a round chambered and a full magazine of bullets.”
The gun contained therein was a 6-shot Smith & Wesson Model 61 semi-automatic pistol, though it was equipped with a 5-bullet magazine for — yes, you guessed it — concealed carry.
“We don’t see those too much,” added Swanton, which was most likely a comment about the gun and not the fact that said gun was barrel-first inside Castaneda’s vagina. Though it technically works both ways.
