Megyn Kelly Hammers Dem Rep. Over Obamacare: ‘Why Do You Get to Decide What’s Lousy?’

Democratic congressman Frank Pallone is getting his fifteen minutes of fame after his now-infamous “monkey court” comment last week, and on Wednesday night it brought him to Fox News, where he got in a heated exchange with Megyn Kelly over people losing their “lousy” health insurance plans due to Obamacare regulations.

Pallone argued that people can keep their policies as long as insurance companies agree to sell them, but many of them have been caught selling “lousy plans at a high price that are skeletal and don’t provide any benefits.”

Kelly shot back that a lot of other policies are being cancelled because “regulations imposed on them by Obamacare left them with no choice.” Pallone said, “That is absolutely not true!” They fought for a while, with Kelly charging that any changes in health insurance policies at all would render them null and void.

Pallone said nobody’s going to buy lousy policies at high prices, but Kelly shouted, “They were buying them!” He kept going on about these “lousy” plans and she asked, “Why do you get to decide what’s lousy?”
