Megyn Kelly: Hollywood’s Been ‘Moralizing’ to Us for Years, Should Have Directed at Themselves

As more and more big names in Hollywood face serious accusations of sexual misconduct and worse, Megyn Kelly noted this morning how, for years, Hollywood has been lecturing everyone else about morals.

In a segment first flagged by The Hollywood Reporter, Kelly brought up a recent report about the LAPD reportedly investigating “almost two dozen cases of alleged criminal sexual misconduct connected to multiple people within the entertainment industry.”

“This is the same industry,” Kelly observed, “that has been lecturing to us at every awards show for years about morals and values. It seems some of the moralizing should have been directed at themselves before they lectured the rest of America on how they need to be living.”

She brought up Harvey Weinstein, Roman Polanski, and Kevin Spacey as examples Hollywood “could have focused more on.”

Kelly also spoke today with Heather Unruh, a mother who came forward recently alleging Spacey sexually assaulted her son.
