Megyn Kelly Tears Into Trump for Attacking Judge Over His Ethnicity: ‘This Is Out of Line’
Earlier this week, Megyn Kelly went off on Donald Trump for attacking the judge in the Trump University case because he’s Hispanic and… well, that’s apparently all it takes for Trump to shout bias. Well, The Donald affirmed his position tonight by saying, “I’m building a wall. It’s an inherent conflict of interest.”
Well, that really set Kelly off. She declared at the very top of the segment, “This is out of line.”
Guest Bill Bennett agreed that Trump screwed up here, but he was mostly a sounding board for Kelly, a former attorney, to tear into Trump for questioning this judge’s bias based solely on his ethnicity.
“The man is not Mexican!” she cried. “He’s American!… He has no conflict of interest!”
She said just because the judge has ruled against Trump does not make him biased, and there’s certainly no “inherent conflict of interest because of his heritage.”
Kelly brought up (drawing from personal experience, no doubt) that “this judge is getting threats and vitriol and who knows what else.”
