Megyn Disses O’Reilly for Calling David Duke Flap a ‘Non-Story’: ‘He Doesn’t Get to Decide That’
Megyn Kelly made it clear tonight she wasn’t buying Donald Trump‘s excuses for not disavowing David Duke‘s support. She started out her show grilling Mike Huckabee for defending Trump, and later on she similarly grilled Trump spokeswoman Katrina Pierson.
Pierson repeatedly insisted that Trump had trouble hearing (Trump made the earpiece excuse earlier today), but Kelly said he clearly “heard both pieces of it.”
At one point, Pierson told Kelly that right before her show, Bill O”Reilly dismissed this as a “complete non-story.”
Kelly said, “With all due respect to Bill, he doesn’t get to decide that, the voters do.”
She kept grilling Pierson on the Duke endorsement and even contrasted Trump’s handling of support from an ex-KKK leader by how Ronald Reagan reacted to a similar endorsement.
