Megyn to Carson: Do You Have the Constitution Right on Muslim President Issue?

megyn carsonMegyn Kelly asked Ben Carson today if he actually has the Constitution right on the question of whether a Muslim can become president.

Carson dismissed the idea that what he said is racist, calling that an easy attack from liberals when they have nothing else to fall back on. He reiterated that this applies to anyone of any faith who would not accept the Constitution as the law of the land over their own beliefs.

Kelly brought up criticism from Fox’s Charles Krauthammer that the Constitution is a document meant to “discourage and delegitimize such authoritarian thinking” from people like Carson, and so Kelly asked if Carson has the Constitution wrong.

Carson said that Krauthammer normally has “solid information” but this time he’s wrong, and touted his upcoming book about the Constitution, encouraging Krauthammer to read it.
