Meteorologist Asked by Viewer to Stop Wearing Dress That Fits ‘Snugly’ Under Breasts

Julya Johnson, a meteorologist for an ABC affiliate in Knoxville, Tenn., posted a hand-written letter on Facebook she said was sent to her by a viewer. A viewer that doesn’t like the way her dresses fit underneath her boobs.

“Please change your appearance!” reads the letter, sent from a self-identified “elderly person.” The letter continues, “Those high-bodice dresses are not for you. Do you have any dress or dresses that don’t fit snugly under your bust? Please!”

Aside from that, the letter reads very favorably of Johnson and her station. It calls her “a great meteorologist!”

Johnson responded to the note on Facebook. “I will never, ever be able to please everyone with my appearance. It’s not possible,” she wrote. “I have tried for 12 years on-air to do that. I have ‘changed my appearance’ to try to please people before. It never works. So, I please myself. I like my dresses. I feel good about my appearance.”
