Michael Cohen Pal Donny Deutsch Trashes Matt Gaetz for Threatening Tweet: ‘You Are Scum!’
On MSNBC’s Deadline: White House today, Michael Cohen friend Donny Deutsch trashed Congressman Matt Gaetz for his threatening tweet to the president’s former lawyer.

Nicolle Wallace read it aloud and said, “I’m not sure if that’s criminal, but it’s certainly deplorable.”
Deutsch immediately said this:
“This is a congressman. You are scum. To call into question this man’s fidelity––I have never seen a better marriage in my life––but worse, to suggest his wife who’s been by his side might not be faithful, who the hell do you think you you are? Who the hell do you think you are?! You’re a congressman. Do your job.”
He said Gaetz should be “ashamed” and added that Republicans should be standing up to this kind of thing.
Washington Post reporter Aaron Blake talked about the trouble Gaetz could get into over this, noting there’s a question of whether he was “freelancing” or if someone “whispered in his ear.”
