Michael Eric Dyson Rips Fox’s Stacey Dash for Teaching 11-Year-Old to Mock Obama

On Friday afternoon, MSNBC’s Michael Eric Dyson, filling in for Ed Schultz, decided to highlight a memorable moment from Fox News’ Outnumbered this week. Contributor Stacey Dash, of Clueless fame, told the show’s panel Wednesday that her kids, including an 11-year-old daughter, have already learned to despise President Barack Obama.

First, speaking of her son who turned 24 years old this week, Dash said, “He is now a conservative,” along with most of his friends. “We’re capitalists, we want to keep our money,” she quoted him saying.

But as Dyson said, Dash is “already teaching her 11-year-old Republican a debate staple: When you have nothing else to stand on, you can always resort to ad hominem attacks on the president like the Republicans do!”

Going back to Outnumbered, Dash described her young daughter as a conservative, “because she has traditions” and “things that she believes in.” But, on top of that, she has referred to President Obama as Gollum from the Lord of the Rings trilogy. “And I think that’s very clever for an 11-year-old,” she added.

“The saying goes, children are great imitators, so give them something great to imitate,” Dyson said. “If Stacey Dash thinks name-calling is clever conservatism, she can keep on pretending.”
