First Lady Michelle Obama took a bit a break after a February media blitz that included appearances on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Sesame Street and the Oscars. But Tuesday night she was back in the spotlight with an interview on Entertainment Tonight that covered pressing issues such as her husband’s sex appeal and her growing bangs.
ET‘s Rocsi Diaz sat down with the first lady during the White House Easter Egg Roll, and her first order of business was asking what it’s like to be married to a “sex symbol” in the mold of Presidents John F. Kennedy and Bill Clinton. “He’s got a little swag, you know. That’s OK,” Michelle Obama said. “I mean, I’m proud of him. He’s a stylish, I think, man who is healthy and he’s smart and he’s passionate and he’s inspiring. And who wouldn’t fall in love with that, you know?”
After once again showing off some of her dance moves, the first lady was confronted with the most controversial topic of the interview: her bangs. She even admitted that she may have regretted the trim. “It’s fun but you know, I’m like a girl, what’s next?,” she confessed. “The bangs are a day-by-day proposition. They’re starting to grow out, getting a little irritating, but it’s OK. It’s OK. We’ll be good.”
